Mount Arjuno Hiking
This mountain is set in the ancient Mojopahit heartland and is dotted with temples, graves, and other historical sites which are still visited by local folk today. Getting There, The mountain is located about 50km south East of Surabaya to Tretes. or 90 km to Batu – Malang City .Tretes is a mountain resort town with lots of hotels and guesthouses. A good place to spend a few days chilling out.

Mount Arjuno is administratively located on the border of Batu City, Malang Regency, and Pasuruan Regency and is under the management of Raden Soerjo Grand Forest Park. The hiking trail through Tretes is notoriously strenuous because it only provides uphill and rocky tracks. Tretes is the hiking trail of Mount Arjuno through the northern mountain route.
This route is widely said to be the toughest route to climb Mount Arjuno, heavier than other routes such as the Lawang route and the Purwoasri route. However, this Tretes Trail is safer than other routes, and more springs than other routes make this Tretes Trail attractive to mountain climbers. For this schedule, we make starts via Tretes, but it can change via Batu City(Sumber Brantas Route), depending on the condition.

Day 1: Pick Up Surabaya – Hotel At Prigen Tretes Town
Day 2: Hotel At Prigen Tretes – Trekking To Kokopan Camp (B,L,D)
Day 3: Welirang Summit – Back To Kokopan Camp (B,L,D)
Day 4: Arjuno Summit – Back to Tretes – Drop Off Surabaya (B,L)
In The early morning at 01.00 – 02.00 am start for Summit Mt Arjuno. It needs around 3 hours to climb to the peak of Mt Arjuno. After reaching enjoy mount Arjuno peaks and its surroundings. Then back to Kopkopan Camp and short rest. After having lunch descend to Tretes, and arrive in Treteas around 16.00 Pm. Short rest and our team will drop you off In Surabaya (1 Hour drive). End Mount Arjuno Welirang Trekking.
Note: if direct drop off Surabaya, please take flight at 19.00 pm – 20.00 pm
